[...] November. Speaks volumes upon volumes when self-interested political jockeying leads Republicans to briefly save a motion of impeachment against Cheney, while the Dem leadership decide their moderate cred trumps upholding civic duty (to say nothing of [...]
So, ten years down the line, when Cheney’s been sent to prison to server decades of hard labor and his name is used to scare school children ala Adolf H., care to bet at least one of those Repubs will tout their part in this antic as a principled stand against the guy?
(”server” shoulda been “serve” in above)
Very upside-down. Either Bushco is blackmailing the Dem leadership or they’ve bought them or both.
“Very upside-down. Either Bushco is blackmailing the Dem leadership or they’ve bought them or both.”
Neither: half o9f them are cowards, and the rest are collaborators.
There has to be stuff going on that we don’t know about.
That doesn’t excuse things, but it may explain things.
Well, since there is a bill for considering impeachment, what does that do for Bush’s right to issue pardons? I believe impeachment was one of the restrictions?
All of you sound like a bunch of moonbat wackos. None of you are qualified to carry Dick Cheney’s shoes. Try including some facts in your arguements. Leave the feelings at home. Joe in NH
Hey, Joe… “Moonbat Wackos??” You should look into the treasonous arguments and abuses of power used by VP Dick. They are abundant. You seem to be confused as to what feelings like name calling as opposed to being pissed off about FACTS is. Try to show evidence that I’m not qualified to carry Dick’s shoes! HA! Laughable, you sheep!
Cheney attended Yale University, but he flunked out. Cheney was twice prosecuted for and convicted of drunk driving. Cheney lied to former U.S. House Majority Leader Dick Armey about the grounds for going to war in Iraq. Cheney is a pathological liar. Cheney is incompetent. Cheney would like to think that he is above the law. However, Cheney must pay for crimes against the United States and the world.
