I knew Rudy would self-destruct.

And I still say Huckabee will be the Republican nominee.

Nah, this Giuliani thing is going nowhere. He’s the chosen one. Huckabee isn’t predictable enough for our corporatist overlords.

I think Huckabee is going to be #2 on a ticket with Romney. I think Giuliani is going to collapse rather spectacularly real soon now.

Let’s assume that Susie is right (I mean correct) about “not descended from a primate” Huckabee, and he eventually gets the Republicscam nomination. What are his chances of defeating the Democratic nominee?

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The big money wing of the Republicans knows that Romney is one of them. Ultimately, the big money wing will beat down and use the sky pilot wing as they always do. Romney will get the nomination.

Giuliani is being destroyed as we speak. He’s not part of the club.

The problem is how to appease the sky pilot wing, who have found their boy in Huckabee? Will the VP spot be sufficient? Or will the big money boys have to destroy Huckabee also?

This can’t be the real meltdown. Maybe it’s just a precursor.

The real meltdown has to involve ferrets.

Now, perhaps a mobbed-up ferret in a WTC3 love-nest, okay.
