Hey, which streets in South Philly again for the great neighborhood displays?
Any of the little streets off Passyunk Avenue between Broad and the river are usually good. I have to say, though, I was there the other night and it sure looked subdued…
I hate these kinds of displays, particularly when they flash on and off and include some insipid “Christmas” tune.
It’s enough to make you want to burn a pine tree on their front lawn.
It’s not tacky, it’s commercially-abetted populist folk art.
OK, I lied about the folk art — it’s very tacky.
I wonder what decorations Scrooge McVeep has in his bunker.
