Disorganization

Okay, it’s been major ongoing stress that I have to get my car inspected tomorrow. Stress No. 1: How much will it cost? At least $400 and probably more. Stress No. 2: Where the hell did I put my new registration and insurance card?
Today I finally found my insurance card. Now I’ve lost my keys. I have to take the car in first thing in the morning, and I’ve been looking for my keys for the past two hours. I remember putting them someplace and saying to myself, “Are you sure you can find them there?”
“Oh yeah, no problem,” I assured myself.
Arghhh.
UPDATE: After looking everywhere I could think of for six hours, I found them under the couch cushion. Understandable, because I haven’t had a couch in four years and I’m not used to losing things there.
I guess putting the keys under the couch cushions was a rational enough act, because you did find them there, with no problem, when you finally searched the right place.
The garbage would have been a much poorer place to leave them…
