Also, at least in my neck of the woods, McDonald’s has been selling so-called flavored lattes for several years, though there isn’t a barrister in sight.

Count your blessings --
the McDonalds around here are usually crawling with lawyers.

I saw (but did not patronize) a couple of McCafe's in central
Europe, and they looked very inviting (in a sophisticated way)
and were jammed with customers.

I wonder if this WSJ reporter has ever been inside a McDonalds, she describes it as "a company that has always hidden its food assembly from customers." Anyone who has ever stood in front of a McDonald's cash register and waited for his/her order to be put together knows this isn't anywhere remotely true.

Also, at least in my neck of the woods, McDonald's has been selling so-called flavored lattes for several years, though there isn't a barrister in sight. It comes out of a machine that pretty much looks like the regular coffee machine. Or at least, that's what they were doing. My kid outgrew the place back when they were giving out "Finding Nemo" toys and I haven't been back since. Thankfully.

Somebody tell me again about how great the Journal's reporting is.
