Why are the poll results from the Clinton-Obama race so far off from the results? There might be some good explanation, but as Brad says, considering the past problems with optical-scanned ballots, we shouldn’t assume they’re correct.






I didn’t do the click-through, but why Hillary? GOP thinks she’s “doable?” And that’s a huge change from polls. This, at least, should be verifiable. One would think.
In the meantime, I think I have to go throw up.
The numbers look like many independents switched and voted in the Republican primary for McCain because the polls told them that Obama had it in a walk.
Obama out polled Clinton substantially with independents so that would cause quite a shift. It also contributed to McCain’s higher than expected margins.
