Just how Ann Coulter got to be such a whack job - the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. This is the strange column she just wrote on the occasion of her father’s death.

Here’s just one of many strange things in her piece:
And last Friday morning at 2 he passed away, in his bedroom with
Mother. The police and firemen told my brother that they kept trying
to distract Mother to keep her away from the bedroom with Father’s
body, but she kept padding back into the bedroom to be close to him.

Why were the cops and firefolk in the house at that time?
Had she shot daddy, and then tried to burn the house down?

But I do find it touching that she thinks he’s now spending his afterlife
with Joe McCarthy.

He is spending his afterlife with BOTH Joe McCarthy and Ronald Reagan. Obviously, it is in a very warm place.

Seriously though, her father was an authoritarian FBI guy who worked for the Bureau under J. Edgar Hoover. No wonder she is such a white-and-black binary thinker herself.
