Boy, here’s Tony Snow on the proverbial brink of death and he’s spinning harder than ever. Bill Maher has Rolling Stone’s Matt Taibbi on, and he’s making real sense. Maher asked him why Edwards wasn’t doing better in the race, and Taibbi blamed the media. Snow immediately interrupted him and changed the subject. And Mark Cuban, the dude who owns the Dallas Mavericks, says Edwards isn’t doing well because people understand that corporations are these great organizations that employ them and give them money.
Do these people even live on the same planet as us?
Now Snow is giving a pious speech about the nasty people who are “personalizing” politics. Imagine the sheer cognitive dissonance of that statement from the spokesman of the party that brought us Lee Atwater and Karl Rove. I’m stunned.
And by the way, why did Taibbi cross the picket line?

…and Joe McCarthy, Father Coughlin, Richard Nixon, and Spiro Agnew — all of them monsters.
Taibbi is a scab. And a punk. Glad I stopped buying Rolling Stone years ago.
And the bigger questions is why in God’s name is Maher giving any platform to that sad mouthpiece of Bushco and Faux News at all. Is there any one on earth who still thinks Snow has a semblance of credibility? Talk about alternate universe.
