		<description>Argh.  Milton Hershey must be spinning in his grave -- after the 1929 crash he continued building at both his plant and around the town (a theatre, among other things) because he felt he had to keep his workers and the town's folk working and to keep the local economy going.</description>

I'm also out on Rolling Rock - sold off to a big brewer and moved production out of Latrobe (although I think the brewery there does some contract brewing now, so it's not shut down completely) - and Yuengling who threatened their workers with 'drastic measures' or some such nonsense unless they left the teamsters union, which the workers eventually voted to do.
