		<description>To be honest, the previous is not quite correct.  I took steps to refi and get out from under because of blog stories on the mortgage crisis over the past year and a half.  If I only read the papers or depended on TV I never would have seen it coming.</description>

		<description>It might be done for all the wrong reasons, but it sounds like a common sense thing for the companies to do.

Of course, if life were fair, they would have to refund any origination fees and stamps prorated to the expected use life of that HELOC.</description>
