Ritter's absolutely correct. because the candidates fear the inherent and unhelpful polarization that would occur if they directly challenged the administration on Iraq, it's the current administration that dictates the short-term future there, and probably the long-term. the future Iraq is not just dead. it is being aborted as we speak. kind of ironic, that, in other ways.... the Bush Administration not just failing in Iraq.
