i am the translator of wasatonline.com , an arabic site intersted in news of IRAQ.
to be honst i am still crying after reading about the future of my country, DEAR IRAQ, but i would like to ask a question, wasn't mr scott ritter part OF his government at that time? the "Frankenstein" he is talking about can live, and will live. i will not let my country kill itself at the end,we will try our best to survive.

we were the first who looked for eternity (remember GILGAMISH and inkido) and we will find it. maybe not in your democracy but in our being good parts of a good "Frankenstein".

the Bush Administration not just failing in Iraq.

we're failing to even attempt to not fail in Iraq.

Ritter's absolutely correct. because the candidates fear the inherent and unhelpful polarization that would occur if they directly challenged the administration on Iraq, it's the current administration that dictates the short-term future there, and probably the long-term.

the future Iraq is not just dead. it is being aborted as we speak. kind of ironic, that, in other ways....
