Damn, I meant to put this up on Valentine’s Day! Ben Folds Five with one of my favorite breakup lines ever: “Give me my money back/Give me my money back, you bitch/I want my money back/And don’t forget/To give me back my black T-shirt.”
My second favorite line is also from BF5, “The Battle of Who Could Care Less“: “I’ve got this great idea/ Why don’t we pitch it/ To the Franklin fucking Mint/ Fine pewter portraits of General Apathy/ And Major Boredom/ Singing whatever and ever/Amen.”
