I think I’ve dealt with the rather less-than-fabulous troll (observe some of his work here) who’s been mucking up the comments on this site for the last few weeks. His IP address is being redirected so that whenever he tries to access this site, he’s directed to Is Barack Obama the Messiah. Susie and I thought he’d be happier there. Personally, I like to keep things fresh, so I’d like to redirect him to a different site every few days. If anybody has suggestions, please let us know.
I’m not exactly sure what the dude’s problem was, but since his IP address was always the same regardless of the time of day or night, I picture the sort of fellow who sits 20 hours a day at a computer in his mother’s basement, surrounded by crumpled-up tissues and stained tube socks, while making pointless arguments in an offensive way on political blogs between drool-laden sessions on acne fetish porn sites. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that.)
He’s probably clever enough to come up with an IP masking scheme or to make his way down to a terminal at the local library, so we’ll likely be hearing from him again.The Joy! Nevertheless, it’s nice to be rid of the turd for a little while*.
