He would have been my second choice, after Dodd (Jeez, can't I pick 'em?), but the hair thing did him in. Not as a big a joke as Mitt "Empty Suit" Romney, but still a joke. It's okay for a candidate to seem stupid. Stupid can still get elected (just look at the present--oh, never mind.) But silly, that's a killer. Unfortunately, Edwards allowed himself to become a joke.
