Clinton Repudiates Iraq Vote

Avedon says there’s…
… something I hadn’t seen anyone talking about yet, which is that Hillary repudiated her vote for the authorization of force for Iraq. (Complete debate transcript and video here.)
If you want to dig it out of the transcript, be my guest. It’s a particularly awkward interface or I’d do it myself.

I did notice that. I didn’t watch the debate, but I saw some clips, and I did see the one about what do you regret and she names that vote. From the transcript:
yeah, i noticed that too during the debate. i’m really glad she did it. better late than never. it made no sense to me at all why she dodged the question before.
oh, but she only “regrets” it.
she needs to “reject” it and “denounce” it or else she just isn’t ready to be commander-in-chief!
I notice a pattern here, she says she disagrees with things but she doesn’t seem to ever do anything about those things at the time, only later when it begins to impact her politically.
She has a record of really bad judgment and really bad political maneuvering–funny that I NEVER see her little flag burning pander discussed on here.
Not to mention that in all of these discussions of health care, no one ever mentions that she had her chance in the 1990s and BLEW IT due to her own stubbornness and failure to realize that incremental change is how the biggest battles are won in DC–see, for example, desegregation.
I know that Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann on MSNBC certainly talked about it.
