		<description>My first reaction to that news was "WTF!? Why not float the idea of having McCain as a running mate for VP?" Then I wondered whether Lugar and Hagel were running for reelection in 2008, and this was a way to weaken them by offending their conservative base. But Hagel is apparently retiring after his term expires this year, and  Lugar's last election was in 2006 (he is now appx 75 yo). So maybe Obama is serious. Next on his list: Joe Lieberman and Lindsay Graham!</description>
