I watched “Pete Seeger: The Power of Song” on PBS tonight and it was wonderful. You know how Woody Guthrie’s guitar said “This machine kills fascists”? Pete’s banjo said “This music surrounds hate and forces it to surrender.” (I like his a lot better.)
