While I was there I found some really good, shade grown organic coffee; no bitter after taste, no acid, no real bite. I brought home a few pounds, but I've had to mix it with the Costa Rican dark roast I get from Costco to get that deep flavor I'm accustomed to. Sorry for your bad coffee experience, Chris. My cup this morning was perfect. Seattle has many great coffee houses, but I still brew my own. Since I work from home, there's little incentive to go out and fight traffic.
