Obama's pastor for twenty years says 'God Damn America' and his supporters or worshippers, still want me to vote for him. Yeah, right!!! Or should I say..."Yeah, Wright!" Under no circumstance, will I ever trust Obama with this country's nuclear weapons and the security of this country. I'm a democrat, however after hearing the hateful sermons of a man Obama admires, he can burn in hell as far as I'm concerned!

I guess, after reading SG for many years on nearly
a daily basis, I've become a yellow dog Susiecrat.

Maybe I'm dense, but I haven't seen any Obama bashing on this site. Nor have I seen any great love of Hillary. I find a healthy dose of scepticism, which I heartily agree with, since we *are* talking about politicians. Can we all just go into the convention and the general election with our eyes open, please?

This is first time at this site. It appears to me that any defense of HRC for some is obsessive. Personally, I need to find a site that will stand up to those who, it appears, just want Obama to win. I agree rules matter. However, if you look at the history of superdelegates and why they were created, you find that the most delegates or popular has been the historical premise of which candidate the superdelegate votes. This is a mantra that the Obama campaign started and MMM, blogs, etc have picked up and carried.

I will be back to this site.

Thank you but I'll I'll do what I "wish to" not "have to". Maybe that is where your blindness to your clear-as-the nose-on-your-face anti OB slant...you feel you "have to" for some reason...It lacks any semblence of reason or sense of fairness your other opinions have...I came and have been coming back to this site for those other opinions and insights but I don't like the pro-HRC "at any costs" this site has taken. One less fan - at least till OB win in Nov which is what he desrves since he is winning the delegate battle (and in fact will win it even in the most lopsided HRC wins from here on out) - which as Pelosi said is the "real context". I would be saying the same thing in support of HRC if she were ahead instead of OB - even taking into account her tactics...

Find your sense of reality and fairness and apply it constructively to talk about progressive issues and movements. Or realize this blog will be eventually pushed aside to the curb with the other sites pandering to the cults the candidates and foot-stomping of why something should happen against the rules to make democracy a better place.

Rules matter...otherwise we are no better than the criminals and corruption we so proudly push toward justice (vainly?) in creating and visiting sites like these.

I agree with Alan.
I find myself rethinking my interest in reading this blog every time I stop by. Are you keeping a jaundiced eye on the media or keeping a jaundiced eye on Obama? Your obsessively intricate attempts to bend reality to suit your point of view don't encourage free thought, Susie. It's like you're laying brick walls of victimization to justify attacking Obama. It is disturbing.

As opposed to Rev. John Hagee? Who John McCain went to extraordinary lengths to court? Let's be honest here -- when people go after Jeremiah Wright to hold Obama accountable for his statements, they are doing so in order to emphasize that Obama goes to a "nigger church." Hell, when Huckaby was still in the race, he refused to make public the text of any of his sermons and no one in the media said boo about it.

I have not been a regular poster, but I've lurking here for the better part of six years, I think. Suburban Guerrilla is one of four sites that I always checked every day (actually three since the death of Steve Gilliard) , and I have always admired you for your passion and viewpoints. But at this point I have to ask: Is there anything either Clinton or one of her mouthpieces could say or do to tear down Obama that would turn you against her? Because with all due respect, for the past several weeks you've been as obsessively pro-Hillary as, say, Andrew Sullivan has been anti-Hillary. It's really getting disturbing.

Not when it's the man you've identified as your longtime mentor and role model.

Look, campaigns aren't about how people "should" react - it's about how they do react. This is what I was talking about when I wrote about what Michelle Obama said - you can't really say what you think while you're running for office. Sad but true.

I agree. It's hard to tell jack from polls at all anymore. What strikes me, though, is what a lame issue to take a hit on. Rethug shamans make millions blaming godless, heathen americans for literally everthing and no one bats an eyelid. One old black preacher, not Obama mind you, curses rethug values for naked aggression and the murder of innocents (all true by the way) and Obama takes the hit. Really. Lame. Bullshit.
