Hmm. Bob Novak says GOP sleazebag and dirty trickster Roger Stone told right-wing talk show host Michael Smerconish months ago that Eliot Spitzer wouldn’t finish his term.
In an interview last week, Stone cheered the governor’s demise, and hinted further that he’d known about the governor’s fall.
“I didn’t make him go to a prostitution ring,” Stone told a Newsday columnist Mar. 12. “He did that all on his own.”
Asked whether he had a hand in Spitzer’s woes, Stone said, “No comment.”
“I will say I knew it was coming,” he added. “That’s why I wasn’t too upset about the results of the special election,” where a Democrat won control of a formerly Republican seat in the State Senate, where the Republicans have a one-vote margin.
Speaking of the scandal Stone added cryptically: “My work isn’t done there. Just watch.”
What kind of rational society allows a scumbag like Roger Stone anywhere near its political process?
Can’t say if this is correct, but it makes sense, and sort of what I suspected when I first heard .(Hold onto your wallets, if you still have ‘em ;))

I have seen the “gregpalast” report in other forms.
I hope we remember all this when the time comes for a just reckoning.
So maybe The Regime obtained Spitzer’s philandering info through
electronic surveillance, and then reverse-engineered their data to
make it look like the banking system was the source.
but this is the same roger stone that is the swinger right?
how is it possible that no one ever brings this up?

Check out the Miami Herald, there’s an article stating that an attorney of Roger Stone’s sent the F.B.I. a letter about Spitzer’s involvement with call girls. Some place else I also read that when asked, Roger Stone confirmed that the story about the letter to the FBI was legitimate, but wouldn’t comment further.
I haven’t seen anything, yet, about this on cable news channels.
