as you know i’ve been skeptical of all prior “bush is about to attack iran!” claims, but this time i’m a lot less sure.

actually, i am beginning to wonder if bush might attack iran if the democrats win the presidential election. really the only deterrant to him doing so is the stinking pile of shit that would leave on the plate of the next president. if mccain were on his way in, bush’s advisors (who would probably get jobs in the “new” administration) would have reason to hesitate or at least not do anything too rash.

but there would be no deterrant at all if obama/clinton won. in fact, it would put the new administration in a really difficult position. i could also see him do it if the mccain campaign starts tanking in the polls prior to the election.
