Wow. Great logistics supply chain there, guys! What do you want to bet this was a civilian contractor?
WASHINGTON - The Pentagon said on Tuesday that it mistakenly shipped non-nuclear ballistic missile components to Taiwan from a U.S. Air Force base in Wyoming.
It said the items have been returned to the United States.
At a news conference, Air Force Secretary Michael Wynne said Tuesday that the misshipped items were four nose cone assemblies for ballistic missiles. He also said it was sent instead of helicopter batteries that had been ordered by Taiwan, he said.

It can be returned now since Taiwan already used such long time to acquire the technology involved. How smart our state department is!
I’ll bet the helicopter repair techs were po’ed as H to get those nosecones when what they needed - and right now- was batteries.
really this cannot be blamed on any political party. just a big snafu - altho thousands of military parts get sent each day and some do go to the wrong place but we never hear of it very often if ever — but this one we do…probably cuz the nuks but still…me thinks there’s likely someone deciding what gets mentioned in msm and what doesn’t…does someone need to be reminded we are thinking about arming nukes???
