... hrc campaign had health insurance bills 60+ days overdue. I've run small businesses, and policies are usually canceled by that point.

Shouldn't the insurance companies agreement not to cancel count as Loan?

I wonder what they might expect in return for this unusual generously on their part?

Will we soon be seeing a post or two on hrc and co not paying campaign bills (still owe at least $25000 to two separate Ohio small business owners for campaign events) and hrc and co not paying for health insurance for campaign workers???

Me thinks if OB was involved even in a rumor of the above we would be seeing it front and center...the above FACTS are verywhere - not just on booman....

It is SO over. Clinton can't win. Okay, so Obama can't either, but who cares? They're separated by 1% of delegates, which might as well be 100% (and will be if we decided to disenfranchise every state, and why not?) He's going to win the general as long as Donna can make 'em all caucuses and then throw out the results in 48. AND, when she was safe and sound visiting a war zone, he was bravely going onto his own district, which, due to his gross incompetence and neglect, might as well have been a war zone, it was so dangerous. He didn't go in often, but sometimes Rezko didn't have time to drive to Springfield to deliver the payoffs, so he bravely took his life in his hands. *swoons*

nobody calls anybody "adjunct" or "lecturer" in the class room.

"professor" is common

and chicago already said they offered him a tenure track job.

Noz, you must not read Booman. Hillary’s Bosnia story is a major deal in his eyes.

i do read booman. and, in case you're questioning my evenhandedness in calling out unfairness directed at the candidates, last week i told booman when i thought he made a cheap shot against clinton.

and yes, the bosnia thing was a real story. it wasn't that odd that clinton exaggerated the danger of her tuzla visit, politicians running for office (like all of us when we seek a job) tend to inflate their resume a bit. the thing that made the tuzla story so toxic for clinton is that when she was called on it by sinbad and others, she pushed back hard. she insisted she was right, that they really did land under fire, that the welcome ceremony was canceled. it was the pushback that was what got her in trouble. and she didn't even back down from that either, not when others on the trip said it didn't happen that way, not when historians pointed out that the fighting around tuzla had ended over a year before her visit, and not when people pointed out that the first lady coming under fire would have made international news, and there was no record at all of such an incident. it wasn't until the video surfaced showing quite clearly that she was full of shit that she suddenly "mis-spoke". it was an embarraing incident for the candidate, made worse that she spent more than a week insisting she was right and giving more demonstrably untrue details. she deserves to be criticized for something like that.

but again, what does that have to do with the calls to have clinton drop out? none really. those calls are because what everyone's now calling "the math" not the bosnia issue.

and maybe you're right. maybe an extended primary does help dems in the long run. i disagree with that, largely because i think so many democrats have gone crazy demonizing the other candidate. and that's why i call you on it when i think you're being unfair to obama and that's why i call booman (or others) on it if i think they are being unfair to clinton. i really wish that all sides would stop the repeat-any-dubious-crap-i-find-about-the-other-candidate strategy. i wish that clinton people would spend more time identifying and shaming the media for its the unfair coverage of clinton and less time trying to extend an equal amount of unfair coverage to obama.

but human nature dictates that people demonize the other. even if "the other" should really be seen as one of two potential allies. and that's why we have all these crazy polls showing obamaniacs and clintonistas threatening to vote mccain if their candidate doesn't win. the more time people make threats like that, the more they believe it.

i really do believe that mccain must be destroyed and that to do so we must reverse a well-entrenched positive image he has cultivated from years of fluffing by the media. changing perceptions so radically will take time and we really should be doing that rather than bashing each other.

I don't agree with the pearl clutchers. I think a long primary is keeping people energized and paying attention to politics, when normally they don't until the last few weeks.

um, the reason people are saying clinton should drop out is because her chances of winning are so slim. what does whether obama was referring to his actual job title or was just using the title used by his students when addressing him have to do with that?

if obama had as little chance as clinton current does to win, i would want him to drop out. i think that a prolonged primary battle will hurt the democrats. as you said yourself, in the end the only really important thing is getting the dems into the whitehouse.

Yeah - his claims about ducking sniper fire running between classes were just outrageousness.

Oh wait - he only claimed to be called a Professor, which is how his students and the other faculty referred to him.

Heh - if that's the worst Hillary can come up with, it's so over.
