Geography of Electability

US News & World Report has a pretty interesting piece on the primary, calling it Academics v. Jacksonians. (You know, those smart Obama people vs. really stupid and bigoted Everybody Else.) (Link fixed.)

it’s funny how obama supporters are stereotyped as upper-class intellectuals, except when they’re black, or young, etc. and it’s not like i don’t know professors who support clinton.
typecasting like this always seems to be popular. it’s bobos in paradise!
Link takes me to No Quarter article on Fox News coverage of the elections?
That article goes to the core of whether Obama is electable in the general election. I fully concur with the author.
I don’t know that it convinced me completely (the guy sounds really conservative) but it was certainly food for thought.
you’re citing MICHAEL BARONE??
Is the Surge working? Some say yes.
“Sounds really conservative”? I hear Dr. J played a little basketball:
Never heard of him before.
you gotta be shitting me. Really?
I’m honestly surprised. Barone is thoroughly odious, yet he has a patina of respectability.
The New York Times At War With America is a real crowd-pleaser.
He’s a Fox News Contributor.
And of course he’s a member of the Town Hall stable of braying asses.
I know you’re opposed to Obama, but sources with credibility please!!
Barone’s Jacksonians are the core “anybody but Clinton” or “never a black guy” types.
He’s not worth the pixels he’s printed on.
Today is the first day I ever heard of him. I don’t read wingers very often, he’s not someone I would know.
