The thing is, this is OK because the life of a single Jewish child is worth more than the lives of 1,000 Arabs. So really, 32 is worth less than 1/20th of a child — so that’s, what, a few toes or something?

What they said. Obama essentially wrote off the legitimacy of Palestinian grievances in his race speech—he said that Wright’s comments on Palestine reflect “a view that sees the conflicts in the Middle East as rooted primarily in the actions of stalwart allies like Israel, instead of emanating from the perverse and hateful ideologies of radical Islam”—and Clinton has shown no signs of placing the same premium on Palestinian aspirations as she did on Irish ones. Of the two, I found Obama’s unconcern especially galling.

The last President to say no to the Israelis was Jimmy Carter. Don’t think anyone will be following his example. I just glad it has even been reported. Mostly it is just hushed up.
