Quote of the Day

“Well, it looks like bowlers won’t have a champion in the race at all. I’m actually surprised by the fact that neither [Sen.] Barack [Obama] or Hillary have bowled much in their lives. Maybe that tells you something about the Democratic Party.”

Just to keep it all in perspective:

I will vote for Clinton if she is our nominee. My anger at some things done by her campaign pales in comparison to what I feel about Cheney, Bush and their new clone McSame.
What I take from Matthews’ comment is more of the bullshit propaganda of the media. Just another American Goebbels as far as I’m concerned. Dems don’t bowl . . . fuck him.
I would bet that GWB could bowl judging from his ability to toss a pitch from the pitchers mound, but what does that tell us?
As for Matthews…what it actually tells us that Matthews is absolutely clueless about yardsticks that he uses to gauge Democrats.
yeah, I am sure tweety rolls all the time!
he is a regular man of the people…
“Maybe that tells you something about the Democratic Party.”
Maybe this tells us something about Chris Matthews.
Has Matthews ever even see a bowling alley, I wonder? Actually, I have to wonder how many people do bowl nowadays … I work with some bowlers, and one thing they mention is how few young people there are now who bowl. It’s not a growth industry, hardly a measure of how “in touch” one is with the pulse of America ^_^.
That tells me a whole lot about that idiot Tweety Matthews.

Young people do bowl these days but they would have problems figuring out the physics because a real bowling ball doesn’t feel at all like a Wii controller.
Reminds me of Ann Coulter and her constant denigration of liberals disdain for NASCAR. When was the last time Ann spent a Saturday afternoon watching a NASCAR race? When was the last time Matthews went bowling? The truly scary part is how many Americans are dumb enough to lap this shit up.
“Young people do bowl these days but they would have problems figuring out the physics because a real bowling ball doesn’t feel at all like a Wii controller.”
Ah yes, point taken. We’ll have to ask Tweety whether Real Americans do virtual bowling … although I wonder if he knows what a Wii is … ^_^
