Now how many of you believe Verizon has gotten few complaints? Because I have some mortgages I’d like to sell you:
TAMPA - Verizon’s largest labor union in Florida held a second protest early this morning at about a dozen company sites to protest what it calls poor customer service.
The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers represents about 4,000 Verizon workers in the Tampa Bay area.
[...] “So far there’s been no response from the company to our first picket,” Sellars said. “We will not be ignored; we will continue to stand up for customers who are getting bad service from this company until the company wakes up and realizes what they’re doing.”
This was the second protest in two weeks staged by the IBEW related to customer service. The first was held April 7.
Verizon executives have countered that they have received few complaints from customers.

Of course they received few complaints. Service is so bad that nobody could get through.
Plus, don’t they drop customers who complain?
The Tampa Tribune wrote about how many complaints Verizon has received. I’m one of the complainers. Once I got a bunch of hang-up calls from someone who wasn’t doing it. Since then, my own number has shown up on similar calls. Each time, I get a different explanation. Argh.
