The only thing more annoying than attack ads on the television are attack ad robocalls coming in the middle of the afternoon while your kid is trying to take a nap.
Keeping a jaundiced eye on the corporate media.

yeah, the robocalls are really getting out of hand at the noz mansion as well. i would vow not to vote for anyone who robocalls me, except that would mean not voting at all. if i were running for office, i would use all my resources to robocall on behalf of my opponent.
i have a cell phone. no robo calls for me (yet).
On the other hand I get tons of Obama literature every day. This is actually perplexing to me, because I have an Obama sign in my window.
Why are they wasting resources on someone who’s already a supporter?
Leave ‘em with the family that doesn’t have a sign!
Fuck! I am going to call and complain right now!
You can actually call the campaign headquarters and have them take your name off the list, but you have to do it the entity actually making the robo-calls. FREX, here in North Mississippi, I’ve been getting robo-calls from Repuke candidate Greg Davis’s campaign, calls which basically do nothing but trash the Democratic candidate. I called his campaign headquarters and had my name put on a do-not-call list. Then, the next day, I got another robo-call basically identical to the previous one only from the NRCC. So I looked up their contact info at nrcc.org and called to have my name taken off THAT list. I can’t wait to see who starts calling me tomorrow.
