umm, I think they are worse than nixon and worse than reagan.

as I said when you were involved in attacking obama for daring to mention that mccain would be an improvement over the "worst. president. ever." then by definition nixon was better as was reagan.

this guy will go down in history as a disaster beyond on measure.

and I agree with the madman that the next pres will have to make a special effort to root out all of the bushie appointees and assorted neo-con sleeper cells left behind at all levels of the government.

It wasn't just the MSM. I remember after the 2004 the Blogger Boyz would discourage any intimation that there was election fraud in Ohio or anywhere else. Many of the seriously progressive commenters insisted that not even Bush would dare to go that far, and you were a conspiracy theorist if you suggested otherwise.

Well, let me stick a feather in my tinfoil chapeau, because it's all true, and a lot more I'm sure we haven't a clue on yet.

I may have mentioned this in [several] replies to other posts, but I must reiterate here that this is the very issue that makes all of the Obama-Hillary arguments moot. Neither will have the opportunity to accomplish anything (meaningful or otherwise) unless or until they clean the Bush sleeper cells out of the DoJ. It's much deeper than the just US attorneys, it's spread throughout several bureaucratic layers of mis-management.

Selective prosecution can keep key players tied up in court for months or years while the Cheney-Cabal continues to laugh all the way to the bank. Even when the court case is completed in favor of the "defendant", the damage is done. They've been dragged through the mud, and spent hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees. The mere accusation is enough in some cases to prevent good public servants from ever running again.

Not to mention that these politicized prosecutors have wasted countless hours that should have been spent on real criminals, (across the aisle).
