Neither will have the opportunity to accomplish anything (meaningful or otherwise) unless or until they clean the Bush sleeper cells out of the DoJ. It's much deeper than the just US attorneys, it's spread throughout several bureaucratic layers of mis-management. Selective prosecution can keep key players tied up in court for months or years while the Cheney-Cabal continues to laugh all the way to the bank. Even when the court case is completed in favor of the "defendant", the damage is done. They've been dragged through the mud, and spent hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees. The mere accusation is enough in some cases to prevent good public servants from ever running again. Not to mention that these politicized prosecutors have wasted countless hours that should have been spent on real criminals, (across the aisle).
