It is hard to know where to begin with this one. There are so many inherent problems in policing hard- core, crime ridden inner city areas. No, absolutely not! Cops shouldn't be shooting people with wallets or hair clips. Yet, I know some cops and they tell stories of when they have been in very compromising situations which could lead to them developing hair triggers.
Funny how all four of those cops saw the wallet as a gun. The gun problem is one that big city mayors have stayed away from in fear of getting on the bad side of some of their constituents. Everbody pays the price for that policy decision in the long run, both police and private law abiding citizens.
