Would that Sen. Specter could muster one-hundredth as much umbrage at what’s been done to our Constitution by this administration. Oh well:
WASHINGTON — After meeting with a former New England Patriots employee who helped the team spy on opponents, Senator Arlen Specter on Wednesday described the team’s illicit videotaping tactics as more systematic and deliberate than what the N.F.L. has acknowledged publicly.

And who can forget: “Sen. Santorum’s reelection is my top priority in 2006.” Arlen Specter 3/14/06.
We really need to get rid of “never fails to disappoint” Arlen.
Spying is OK only when instigated by the Weiss Haus.
I can’t believe a United States senetor would waste our time with an investigation of cheating by the NE Patriots.
An investigation of cheating by the Dallas Cowboys would be a worthy use of the Senate, but not the Patriots.

isn’t umbrage sen. specter’s whole schtick? he regularly takes umbrage at civil liberty abuses by the bush administration, he gives speeches calling their crap unconstitutional, and then he turns around and votes for it anyway.
If they really wanted to clear everything up how about viewing NFL Films recording of that Steelers/ NE Cheaters game. You can bet your can that they picked something up.
