Here in smalltownsville, any game is a big deal. But then again, there are parents who can get off work and drive to where the game is. And bam! up comes a long forgotten reference to G.I.'s (they were doughboys then, weren't they?) in WW I who had to teach the French to throw grenades, because the French hadn't grown up playing baseball. That’s so depressing.
