I talked to Ben the Zen Subaru mechanic this morning, and we are hopeful (for no logical reason) that the trans problem is relatively minor. All the other stuff may cost me as much as $1000 to get inspected (I’m due by the end of August).
I wish I had a job where I could take the train. Or a bus. Or a trolley. Anything but a car…
UPDATE: I completely forgot to mention the crunchy, grind-y feeling that happens sometimes when it shifts.
