I’ll apologize to Susie since I made a mistake by thinking you were an inhumane employee of a front group, but not to you, because in every post I’ve read of yours, you’ve never stepped down your soapbox to be human, to express any other feeling than those that buttress your political fight on this blog. Susie posts a lot of non-political posts, as empathy gom-jabbar tests, and so far, I haven’t seen you pass yet.

It’s people like you, Steveeboy, who make it so difficult for Obama supporters like me to convince skeptics that Obama is worthy of their support and their vote.

I can’t believe you are still going after Hillary Clinton. How counterproductive is that, do you think? But then I see that there is scant evidence that you do think. What a shame. Obama deserves better. Or maybe not. Maybe there is something about him and his campaign that encourages troll-like behavior like yours.

If you can’t understand the difference between Susie and this blog and what is a happening at The Confluence and other such PUMA supporters, not only does that indicate there is something wrong with you, but it also strengthens the movement you hold in such contempt. I’m not a member of any coordinated group, no matter how you try to paint me as one. Maybe it’s time you concentrated on completing your own projects instead of putting so much energy into attacking someone else’s writing.

I wasn’t responding to “rumors,” as you put it, but actual information from my own campaign sources. In fact, I actually WORKED with Obama’s field people. Maybe I might know something about how they operate?

Those of us who have actually worked on the inside of a big-money campaign just might understand a few things more than someone who perhaps took DFA training, knocked on doors and once or twice worked a polling place. Just maybe.

As anyone who’s ever run a large field operation will tell you, the mileage on “coordinated” campaigns will vary greatly - and this is exactly my point.

I am sure that in a contest of the cynical, bitter, and realist, I would give you–or any other person alive (but maybe not Brendan)– a run for your money.

But, my cynicism is tempered with the knowledge that our nominee was decided by our primary process and at this point the nominee is the nominee, and the continued whining and conspiracy mongering serve no purpose other than to continue the HRC supporter sore-loser circle jerk.

To claim that HRC and her campaign would not have centralized their power and ran the campaign as they saw fit–which is what all this teeth gnashing about obama organizing his national effort implies– is naive and flies in the face of how the DNC and Clintons operated when they were the ones in power.

In fact, she ran her primary campaign in the same manner as the “old thinking” –concentrating on a few big states, not planning past super tuesday, etc.

Hell, she couldn’t even manage her finances and has now stiffed tons of small vendors and is expecting others to pay the debts that she personally ran up.

But, rather than some much needed introspection as to why their candidate may not have been the best choice, you now have people claiming that obama giving a speech at a football stadium is akin to hitler at nuremberg.

you have people acting as if HRC was the second coming of FDR rather than just another in a long line of DLC-type democrats.

the best person won, and it is time to end the silliness and bullshit and focus on mccain.

Well, I am sure you are aware that the dems have been getting their asses kicked for a long time now. If a leader has emerged that has money, expertise, and staff to organize and run campaigns in all fifty states, then in my mind this is a good thing.

We can hardly do worse than what has happened since @1994 or so.

One shouldn’t have to see conspiracy in a strategy that presupposes that if you turn out a shitload of voters for the top of the ticket, those people are most likely to vote straight ticket down the line.

Frankly, I think the fact that obama beat HRC demonstrates his skill and the power of his organization. I feel more confident with that organization than local parties in states that have not had much success in electing democrats.
