But you knew that, didn’t you?
I have to hand it to the pharmaceutical companies who own my soul. They are coughing up what would be $540 bucks a month for me.
I would like to know why everything I’m still paying cash for is $34.85. It’s kind of spooky, that generic price. Of course, one will be going up to $80 for no good reason soon. Still, I’m alive.

While undergoing Chemo, one week on/two weeks off for 6 months, I would get 3 pills at the beginning of the week to take for the first 3 days of said treatment to protect my liver. I paid the Pharm. $15 for them and never thought about it till I heard 2/3rds of the way through the treatment that those 3 pills alone cost over $780 a pop (or $260 per pill). To this day I thank my lucky stars that I had both medical insurance that also covered pharmaceuticals.
