Cintra Wilson asks: Why does the peace movement have to dress and act like an irritating children’s birthday party?
I happen to love Code Pink. They never, ever pretend that what’s going on in Iraq is acceptable, and they’re not willing to compromise as part of their Beltway career path. The picture of a Code Pink member thrusting her red-stained hands in Condi Rice’s face is one of the most powerful images I’ve ever seen.
I admire their persistence - and their integrity. It’s a rare quality in D.C.

the bloody hands and the look on Condi Rice’s face as she is confronted by them is one of the best protests I have ever seen.
Plus, code pink matches my bike!
