Almost There

Today’s the day of the Great Bridal Shower festivities, and I’m almost there. Just have to find a place for the rest of these goddamned books, peel several pounds of shrimp, cook several pounds of chicken, figure out how to display all these cupcakes that are as large as VW Bugs, pick up 40 pounds of ice, vacuum the apartment, make several gallons of iced tea and lemonade, do something about my pounding sinuses, get all this food out on the tables and then just sit back and hopefully watch it all disappear.

I know I’ve seen something similar on the Food Network made with foil-covered cardboard circles and inverted plastic cups, maybe with a dowel through the center to keep everything fairly stable.
Maybe better forget SOMETHING or somebody will think you’re on dope.
