Will young voters carry Obama?

I find it hard to believe that McCain has much of a chance of winning, but it definitely is risky to to bet against the stupidity of “undecided” voters, and I guess that the polls show that McCain is pulling ahead in the dumb vote. But, as Sarah points out at Future Majority (in quoting CIRCLE’s Peter Levine), if young people turn out at the same rate that they did in 2004 then Obama will win, even with the polls pushing towards brain dead part of the voting spectrum. And so, yet again the youth vote is incredibly important.
Too bad there still isn’t much attempt to reach out to and connect with them outside of the Obama campaign…
