Class Act

Hillary Clinton just motioned to suspend the nomination vote and make Barack Obama the nominee by acclamation. He has accepted the nomination.

Somewhere, Maureen Dowd just blew an aneurysm. (As did the rest of the Villagers.)

It was all coordinated ahead of time. Class act would be if it was spontaneous - conventions these days are far from spontaneous.

Still, I’m glad that they did it. It was a nice piece of symbolism.
