One of Those @#!*& Days

I was hanging curtains in the bedroom when I heard something crash. I didn’t hear anything break, so I didn’t turn around. In a few minutes, though, I started to sneeze.
Turns out my big container of Tide liquid detergent fell from the top of the dryer and the top popped off - onto the rug and under the washer.
As I was scraping it out of the rug with a spoon, my friend called and I told her what happened. “Let me guess. You had it on top of the dryer and it fell off during a spin cycle?” she said.
“Why, yes! How did you know?”
“Guess.”
Some days, it doesn’t even pay to get out of bed.

The my deaf cat gets attention by clearing off an entire surface so he can “perch” there. He has been known to nudge the contents of my desk over the edge, clear off the kitchen table, attack my son’s musical equipment and attack the keyboard when I’m typing. In our household the sound CRASH is more frequent than I’d care to admit.
Good Grief, Susie. You need a vacation.
I SO need this vacation.
Have a great time Sus . Nothing like a change of scenery, ( better that you painted beforehand) you’ll come back a new woman ready to tackle almost anything!
PS. It is hard to know how to begin to think about that …isn’t it?
