I’m Barack Obama. I hope you’ll read my economic plan. I approved this message because bitter, partisan fights and outworn ideas of the Left and the Right won’t solve the problems we face today. But a new spirit of unity and shared responsibility will.
Yes, because the outworn ideas of the Left like corporate responsibility and vigorous oversight wouldn’t have solved a goddamned thing. (Not to mention silly Left ideas like Social Security! Say, wouldn’t this be a good time to dump all the Social Security funds into the stock market? Bet we’d make a bundle - eventually…)
God, I’m really going to have to hold my nose to vote for this “post-partisan” cheerleader.

any economic plan that can be summed up in 30 seconds is window dressing, NOT a plan.
the guy has been getting hit for months about “not providing specifics”
Now, he provides specifics and he gets hit for that too…
Now, I am all in favor of him saying “this is what you get with 30 years of right-wing rule”
But there is no way this mess is getting fixed with a 30 second sound bite.
