Jon Stewart Channels Beck

In case you’ve never seen Glenn Beck, this is exactly how he acts. What’s scary is that so many people find him credible – mostly because he’s so good at pushing buttons on paranoia, resentment, and fear.

I can’t watch him, myself. He’s too much like a parody of himself. It saddens me.

Forget Glenn Beck, or Fox, for that matter– I can’t stand to watch the ‘news’ on CNN. Yet that is what passes for information for a lot of people. Sigh.

Yep, current news coverage on tv has made my hubby and me great fans of Turner Classic Movies.

Embed’s not working for me, but it doesn’t matter. Beck’s name anywhere in the post says it all. Fox is not a news channel it’s the propaganda station. Anyplace in public that I see it displayed I complain loudly until they change it or leave. Unfortunately, other formerly valid news sites like CNN are adopting Fox’s business model.
