No. Torture is wrong, period.
No. And having worked hard for Dem elected officials to take over, I actually feel worse that a nominal Dem prez is doing it.
NO !!! If we don’t condemn this, then there is no difference between Tea partiers and us. (For eg., The tea partiers , asleep during Bush’s, woke up and smelled deficits as soon as Obama became prez). We are better than that. To paraphrase Greenwald, we are then into Tribalism/authoritarianism.
This is another sleight of hand by Obama. Because Guantanamo was very unpopular, he works on closing it but open up another facility in Bagram. Very Orwellian.
