Well, it took three full days to turn out to be just another Republican lie. That’s a long time! That’s practically a full week, for a Senator, which is nearly almost half a week for the rest of us!
Color me deeply moved.
Actually I think earmarks are great. Why shouldn’t a politician run on getting funding for a SUPERTRAIN, levy, toxic clean up, whatever the locals want, and then ear mark funds for that. That is democracy. And that is what the disaster capitalism schnooks want to stop. The problem was secret earmarks to put contracts into the hands of cronies, but since secret earmarks have been abolished, I don’t see the problem with regular earmarks.
I don’t care about them at all. I was simply pointing out the hypocrisy.
