    Nice story. Being a former science geek, I knew about Hedy Lamar and her interest and work in rocketry.

    I did, too, thanks to reading, several years ago, the book Dignifying Science: Stories About Women Scientists , a collection of short biographies, by Jim Ottaviani.
    It is one in a series of comic books about scientists published by G. T. Labs.
    I love my local library for stocking it.
