I’m a gambling man. I’ve noticed a massive number of nuclear energy apologists in the comments at msnbc.com. I’ll lay you five to one and put up a twenty that these are sock puppets (possibly software personas). The sheer number of them and their sudden knowledge of industry talking points convinces me of this. How many people really would come out of the woodwork, complete with masses of talking points, DURING A MAJOR NUCLEAR CATASTROPHE? I read that nuclear lobbyists began spreading the money around Washington as soon as the disaster began to unfold. The sock puppets are for the common person who reads the news.
