But here in Merikah, we have the kind of democracy that allows us to say whatever we please and the military-media-political complex just ignores us. Effect is the same except that the sociopaths are employed abroad, out in the empire, and not at home, hurting us. Also, our torturers wear suits and the torture is passive-aggressive.
