Entitled twit

Rand Paul:

“With regard to the idea of whether you have a right to health care, you have realize what that implies. It’s not an abstraction. I’m a physician. That means you have a right to come to my house and conscript me. It means you believe in slavery. It means that you’re going to enslave not only me, but the janitor at my hospital, the person who cleans my office, the assistants who work in my office, the nurses. … You have a right to beat down my door with the police, escort me away and force me to take care of you? That’s ultimately what the right to free health care would be.”

Did I mention his practice consisted mostly of Medicare patients?

  1. Doesn’t he know that the government already has a right to conscript him? Is he so young that he never heard of the draft?

  2. Who the hell said anything about free health care? I want a government-sponsored payment scheme (Medicare for all, single payer, NHS or Canadian style, whatever) which would give us all care at affordable costs. I would gladly pay taxes for this. It would be better than the for-profit schemes were have now.

(And Rand Paul should talk about his Medicare-dependent practice.)

  3. After all, what do those Canadians, Europeans and Australians know.
Imagine having a pig like that for a doctor. If only we required that people be human before we let them practice medicine.

  4. “I,I, me, me, my, mine.” When you hears somebody talking like this, you can be pretty sure you are talking to a sociopath, or somebody close to it.

He seems to believe people are wanting to beat down his door to get him to be their doctor. I wouldn’t want anything to do with him. No empathy.

  5. He’s an eye doctor. I think I read somewhere that the bulk of his practice is doing laser surgery on cataracts — Medicare assembly line, in other words. Oh, and he’s not board certified, although he refers to himself as an ophthalmologist.

  6. y’know i think people have a right to food too, but i don’t worry that people are gonna knock down my door and make me cook for them.

and i bet those janitors, nurses and assistants do feel enslaved already – by him.
