Even the NY Times doesn’t get it.

In an article about employers excluding the unemployed from being considered for hire;

It’s not clear what can be done to pull workers out of this unemployment trap.

Um, create jobs?

Our pols and MCMers (members of the Mainstream Corporate Media) are sort of like the Daleks of Doctor Who fame.

The Daleks would say only (mostly?), “Exterminate, exterminate.”

Well, our pols now can only say, “Austerity! Austerity!”

Including, now, Nancy Pelosi:

It is clear we must enter an era of austerity, to reduce the deficit through shared sacrifice.
