  1. I saw her and Union Station touring this album at McCabe’s in Santa Monica–I was already floored by the CD (“I’ve Got That Old Feeling”), but they were *magnificent* live (and McCabe’s brings out the best in any band worth their salt), and she was adorable and an amazing fiddle player. Needless to say, I had the entire band autograph the CD cover, and I think I swiped one of the set lists, too, if memory serves.

She’s still amazing, but those older albums are still the best. (And this song in specific–it saw me through one of my roughest heartbreaks.)

  2. I still remember where I was when I first heard her voice, and it was this song. It just floored me. The only time I was in Nashville, I went to the Bluebird and was sitting next to her and her then-fiance. I was so excited. This is my favorite album, too – and ditto for the heartbreak.
